Pumpkinland Field Trip
Spencer had a field trip to Pumpkinland at Vineyard Gardens in Orem. It rained all night last night and most of the morning…we were really worried they wouldn’t be able to go, but right before we left the sun came out and shined the whole time there and then started raining on the drive home afterwards, what a blessing! We had so much fun! We were with Hannah Carr, Kira & Olivia and Racquel. These 4 lOVE being together!!!! Here are some cute pictures from our adventure in the mud and the muck!

Spencer’s 3 Goals
Spencer informed me last week that there were three things he wanted to accomplish. First, to be able to snap his fingers. Second, to be able to whistle. And third, to blow a bubble with gum. He has been practicing these all week and two days later informed me that he could snap his fingers. Today he mastered whistling. As we were driving in the car he said, “I am a better whistler than you are Mom!” Then he informed me that all he needs to master now is blowing a bubble. Thank goodness for good old practice and determination! What an amazing kid!
GO COUGARS!!!!
Spencer’s Fall soccer season this year was so much fun! His team was called the Cougars. His team mates included: Cameron, Isaac, David, Treg, JJ, Morgan, Sam, and Taylor. He did such a great job this year staying more focused on the game. He was an amazing goalie and a great defender. He came so close to scoring a goal this year and of course loved the treats after the games! Here are some picts from this year….

1st Day of Preschool! 2009-2010

Spencer started a new year of preschool. After much debate, a ton of research and prayers and fasting we decided to do one more year of preschool before Spencer goes into Kindergarten. When people find out he is 5 and ask if he is in Kindergarten, he says matter of factly, “Nope, I am doing one more year of preschool.” As a parent, I hope I have made the right decision to have him do one more year of preschool and go into Kindergarten as the oldest in his class instead of the youngest.
All that being said, he is so excited about school this year. He is going to ABC Preschool with his little buddies, Kira & Olivia Hutchings. Chris was home to go with us for his first day, which he loved, but Josey cried the whole way home wanting Spencer. It was really sweet! He is growing so fast I can’t hardly believe that he is 5 now. This year promises to be a year of adventure…can’t wait to see him learn and grow!
A full Day with Dad
So Spencer and Chris had the annual Fathers & Sons campout with church. They went up American Fork Canyon and played in the dirt…they came home filty, but had lots of fun with the other boys and dads. They went hiking and heard some rustling in the bushes, and he said the Chris, “Dad let’s go, that’s really freakin me out!” He also got to roast a hotdog over the fire and informed me that he burned it black and it tasted sooo good!

After they got home and cleaned up, they went to the Monster Truck show in SLC. Spencer LOVED it! He said, “There were all these really loud trucks driving over the smashed cars, it was cool Mom!”

Boys will be boys and boys never really grow up!
I love my boys, oh and I loved dinner at Flour Girls and Doughboys with Josey and the 14 pages that I got to srapbook while they were gone!
