Okay, so most of you know that Spencer is a very active, energetic child right?  Okay, so here is an example of his “go getter” attitude.  I was talking to my neighbor and Spencer was out riding his bike with training wheels on.  He rode up to me and said, “Mom, my training wheel sounds funny.”  I took a look and sure enough the bolt was coming loose so the training wheel was moving up and down as he rode.  I hand tightened it and told him when Papa came tomorrow that he would teach him how to ride his bike without traning wheels.  I turned back to my neighbor and a few minutes later I hear Spencer say, “Look Mom, I got it off!”  I then helped him take the other one off, had him sit on the bike, told him when he started to tip to the side to put that leg down, then practiced tipping both ways a few times.  Mind you I am still holding onto the back of his bike seat when he says, “okay Mom, just let go!!!”  I gave him a little push an off he went!!!  He was turning, stopping, starting and riding like an old pro 2 hours later when Chris got home from work!  WOW!!  I knew he was good, but come on!  He was so proud of himself that he told everyone he saw (several times) that he could ride his bike without training wheels.  He truly is a remarkable kid!
